Lon Hagler Reservoir & State Wildlife Area has a popular trail for fishing, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
Loveland Reservoir near Berthoud CO is our newest reservoir; they have had sightings of 70 different birds; they have public fishing with required fishing license; Loveland Reservoir is 135 sq acres.
Carter Lake is located just 12 miles SW of Loveland CO. Three miles long and one mile wide, this beautiful 1,100-acre reservoir is surrounded by 1,000 acres of public lands. Great place for fishing, sailing, water skiing, camping, picnicking, swimming, scuba diving, and rock climbing.
Do you Remember sitting in this big blue Adirondack chair located at Rist Benson Reservoir from 2014 - 2019.
